The Friends is managed by a Management Committee; the constitution makes provision for a committee comprising a minimum of 5 (five) and a maximum of 9 (nine) members, elected by the members in general meeting.
All committee members are required to retire at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting following the Annual General Meeting at which they were elected, but are eligible for re-election. All committee members hold office from the conclusion of the meeting at which they are elected on an honorary basis.
The Office Bearers on the committee include a Chairman, Secretary, Media Liaison Officer, Treasurer and Membership Secretary. The Committee is answerable to the Members and the powers of the Committee are set out in the constitution.
